New Slug-san FINAL WARS ~All the salt and mysteries dissolved~ (シン・ナメさん FINAL WARS ～謎と塩は全てとけた～) was an April Fool's event that happened on April 1st, 2023. Players were tasked with finding the 5 stolen Sodium Chloride (塩化ナメリウム) hidden throughout the game's interface.
Synopsis[]
A huge swarm of slug pests approach from the depths of the forest. A terrifying mutation called "That Slug-san" is leading a large number of minions. However, the anti-slug specialised weapon "Sodium Chloride" , which has been developed to counter them has been stolen by a mysterious person. In order to protect Spring Garden, we must find the whereabouts of the stolen "Sodium Chloride" and repel Slug-san and all the slug pests!
How to Play[]
While the 24-hour long event was running, slugs would run rampant on the game's screen. The slugs could be permanently removed by defeating the boss That Slug-san (あのナメさん), however they possesses powerful abilities that make it impossible to kill. The player must collect 5 Salt to disable the boss's abilities - only then can the boss be defeated.
How slugs visually appear can be changed in the event-specific Options page.
Step 1: Find the 5 Salt[]
The following is a list of all Salt locations. Clicking the '[Expand]' button will reveal the answer. Finding each Salt will open a Quiz Stage of the corresponding number.

Step 2: Solve the Quiz Stages[]
Finding each of the 5 Salt in the game's interface will open up a Quiz Stage. These work just like regular Quiz Stages, the player must drag their party on the starting point near the character that is the right answer. If they choose the correct answer, they'll fight a very weak pest and easily complete the stage. If they choose a wrong answer, a much stronger pest will be fought. Upon completing the Quiz Stage, the player will be rewarded with Salt sent to their Present Box.

Step 3: Defeat the Slug Boss[]
The stage involves just a single path where your Flower Knights get chased down by the boss. If all 5 Salt have been collected, the boss can be defeated by simply using the Solar Drive to summon Nazuna.
Options[]
The player can alter how slugs appear in the game using a special Options menu specific to this event. It can be found by going to the Home Screen and clicking the crossed-out slug icon at the bottom-center.

We were able to fend them off for a while, but then a mysterious figure stole the "Sodium Chloride". According to the rumours, that person looks exactly like Nazuna... But let's put that fact aside for now. In other words... Yeah, that's about it. We need to find the stolen "Sodium Chloride" and beat up "That Slug-san". Did you take the medicine? Are you ready? Well, let's start this mission. |
