This is the 2nd page of the New Player Guide for Flower Knight Girl (フラワーナイトガール). This article explains the Registration process and how to bypass country restrictions. Once you've registered / installed the game, take a look at the How to Play article.

NOTE: Fandom bans direct links to FANZA (18+ version), so I added XXXX to break the links. Remember to remove the XXXX when trying to open FANZA links on this page.

Introduction[]

First, you need to decide if you want to play the game on Browser or Mobile.

To play on the Browser, you must first create an account on either DMM (All Ages version, https://www.dmm.com/) or FANZA (18+ version, https://www.dmm.XXXXco.jp/). After you've registered with one version you can freely swap between the two using the same login information. Both sites are entirely in Japanese, so it is recommended to use a browser that can translate entire pages to English such as Google Chrome. To translate a page with Chrome, click the Google Translate symbol that appears on the right-side of the URL bar. Alternatively you can right-click anywhere on a page and select "Translate to English". It will be much easier to input your information when the pages are being auto-translated. Through DMM (All Ages): https://www.dmm.com/

  1. Following the link will take you to the DMM homepage.
  2. Click the yellow button at the top-right to create a DMM / FANZA account.
  3. You will be given several registration methods. The most common is with Email, which has the red mail icon.

Through FANZA (18+): https://www.dmm.XXXXco.jp/

  1. Following the link will take you to a page asking if you are at least 18 years old.
  2. Click the red button on the left to confirm.
  3. This will take you immediately to the login page.
  4. At the bottom-center, there is a message asking if you want to sign up instead.
  5. Click the "Sign up" button at the bottom to create a DMM / FANZA account.
  6. You will be given several registration methods. The most common is with Email, which has the red mail icon.

After you've created an account, you can play Flower Knight Girl on browser through either of the two links:

If you are outside of Japan, there is very high chance that trying to access FKG will give you an error page stating "This content is not available in your region". This country restriction can be bypassed through two means on browser: the #Cookie Method or the #VPN Method.

Cookie Method[]

This is one method for bypassing country restrictions on the Browser.

  1. Try to access Flower Knight Girl on browser through either of the two links:
  2. Enter your login credentials.
  3. You will be given an error page stating the content is not available in your region.
  4. Open the browser's Dev Tools Console Panel by pressing the [F12] key on your keyboard.
    • Alternatively you can right-click anywhere on the page, click "Inspect", then click the "Console" tab.
  5. Copy the two lines of code shown below and paste them into the Console. Execute it by pressing the [Enter] key on your keyboard.
    • If you are entering code into the Console for the first time, the browser may ask you to confirm that you understand the risks.
  6. Go to any DMM or FANZA link, for example the Flower Knight Girl links given above. They should now all be accessible.
    • Refreshing while on the error page will not work because it will simply reload that same error screen again.
    • You will likely have to repeat the Cookie Method every time you close and open the browser.

Console Code

How it Works

  • You use the browser's Dev Tools Console to write cookies onto your computer. Nothing has been transmitted to the server at this point.
  • When you go to a DMM / FANZA link, the site will check for the cookies that your browser now has.
  • DMM will see the new region flag on the cookies and grant you access.
  • DMM / FANZA cannot know you faked them since it was naturally given to them by your browser.

VPN Method[]

This is a second method for bypassing country restrictions on the Browser.

You can use any VPN that allows you to connect to Japan. Note that most VPNs require a monthly paid subscription to access their Japanese servers. Tunnelbear is an example of a VPN service that offers Japanese server connections for free. However, be warned that they impose a 2GB data limit per month on non-paying users. Thankfully, you don't need a VPN running the entire time while playing the game. For FKG specifically, you should only need the VPN on until the title screen appears and it says "PUSH START". It should be fine to turn off the VPN once you see this screen.

Windows Specific[]

  1. Head over to VPN Gate, an "Academic Experiment Project" by the University of Tsukuba.
  2. Download, install and run the client.
  3. Select a Japanese server in "VPN Gate Public VPN Relay Servers".

Mac / UNIX Specific[]

Chances are there is L2TP VPN interface that has been pre-installed in your kernel (especially if you are not running your own custom kernel). You can directly set it up without needed to download any clients nor using similar software to let you execute Windows-only clients. However, in case your network is blocking the usage of L2TP, you will still need to download VPN clients to let you use VPN with different protocols.

Linux Specific[]

  1. See this user blog entry on kancolle wikia for more information.
  2. If you have difficulties getting SoftEther VPN for Linux to work properly you can revert to connecting to SoftEther VPN servers via L2TP method. Just make sure that the server you are connecting to also supports L2TP method.

DMM Games Store[]

The DMM Games Store version is a Mobile version that requires a VPN if you are region locked. Unlike all the other versions, it allows you to view H Scenes. You must create a DMM account to play this version. Additionally, it shares premium currency with the browser version on DMM.

  1. Download and install the DMM App Store app for Android.
  2. Run the DMM App Store. If this is your first time running the app, you may get a popup asking if you want push notifications. You can pick either option.
  3. Scroll down a little bit until you can find the link to switch to the R18 page.
  4. Click on the search box and look up "Flower". "Flower Knight Girl A" should come up.
  5. Download the game with the large, yellow button.
    1. You may be asked to login to DMM. If you have already have an account, put in your email address and password. Skip the rest of the steps.
    2. If you don't have an account, you'll need to register with DMM.
    3. Input your email address and desired password to get registered.

QooApp[]

The QooApp version is the only Mobile version that does not require a VPN if you are region locked. Like the #Android and #iOS version, it does not have any H Scenes and even censors character art by adding clothes to hide skin. You do not need to create a DMM account to play this version.

  1. Download and install the QooApp Games Store app for Android.
  2. Run the QooApp Games Store. If this is your first time running the app, you may get a popup asking if you are at least 18 years old.
  3. You will be asked to login to QooApp. If you have already have an account, put in your email address and password.
  4. If you don't have an account, you'll need to register with QooApp. Input your email address and desired password to get registered.
  5. Click the Games button at the bottom-center, then click the magnifying glass at the top-right to search for "FLOWER KNIGHT GIRL".
  6. Install the FKG QooApp App.

Android[]

The Android version is a Mobile version that requires a VPN if you are region locked. Like the #QooApp and #iOS version, it does not have any H Scenes and even censors character art by adding clothes to hide skin. You do not need to create a DMM account to play this version.

Follow this link to FKG's Google Play Store Page and install. Alternatively, you can follow these steps:

  1. Open Google Play Store.
  2. Search for "Flower Knight Girl" or "フラワーナイトガール". If you are region locked, it will not show up and you must use a VPN.
  3. Install the FKG Android App.

iOS[]

The iOS version is a Mobile version that requires a VPN if you are region locked. Like the #QooApp and #Android version, it does not have any H Scenes and even censors character art by adding clothes to hide skin. You do not need to create a DMM account to play this version.

Follow this link to FKG's Apple App Store Page and install. Alternatively, you can follow these steps:

  1. Open the Apple App Store.
  2. Search for "FLOWER KNIGHT GIRL". If you are region locked, it will not show up and you must use a VPN.
  3. Install the FKG iOS App.
